1. Who we are

MyRecruiter.co.uk (“MyRecruiter”, “we”, “us”) is operated by SEMPRE FELICE LTD., a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11734209), registered office 89 Kingsland Road, London, England, E2 8AG.

Contact: hello@myrecruiter.co.uk

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. What MyRecruiter is

MyRecruiter is a directory of UK recruitment agencies. Candidates and employers who have dealt with an agency can leave an anonymous, moderated review. Agencies can claim their profile and reply to reviews, but they cannot remove them.

Agency profile information comes from public sources (such as Companies House and agencies’ own websites) and from agencies that claim their profile. We try to keep it accurate but can’t guarantee it is complete or up to date.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to create an account or write a review.
  • Keep your login details private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
  • Give us a real email address. We use it to contact you about your reviews and account. It is never shown publicly.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

4. Writing a review

When you submit a review, you confirm that:

  • it is based on your own genuine experience with that agency, within the last three years;
  • it is honest, and what you present as fact is true to the best of your knowledge;
  • you are not employed by, connected to, or paid or rewarded by the agency or one of its competitors;
  • you have not been offered anything, such as money, discounts or gifts, in return for writing it, or for writing it a particular way;
  • it follows our review guidelines.

Fake reviews and undisclosed incentivised reviews are unlawful in the UK under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. We remove them and may close the accounts involved.

Moderation. A person reads every review before it is published. We may decline, remove or (rarely) shorten a review, for example to take out personal information. We don’t change your rating or the meaning of what you wrote.

Anonymity. Reviews are shown as “Verified reviewer”. We do not show your name, email or account to the public or to the agency. We may have to disclose your identity if we are legally required to, for example by a court order. We will not otherwise share it.

Your content. You keep ownership of your review. By submitting it, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive, permanent licence to publish, display, store and moderate it on MyRecruiter and in material promoting MyRecruiter. You can ask us to remove your review at any time by emailing us.

5. Agencies: claiming a profile and replying

  • Only someone authorised to act for the agency may claim its profile. We may ask for proof, such as an email from the agency’s own domain.
  • A claimed agency may post one public reply to each review. Replies are labelled as coming from the agency.
  • Replies must be professional and must not reveal, or try to work out, who wrote a review.
  • Agencies may not write, buy, incentivise or arrange reviews of themselves or competitors. They also may not offer candidates anything in return for reviews, or for changing or removing them.
  • Claiming a profile does not give an agency any right to edit, hide or remove reviews.

6. Reporting a review

If you think a review is fake, defamatory, unlawful, or breaks our guidelines, email hello@myrecruiter.co.uk with:

  1. the link to the review;
  2. what you think is wrong with it, and why;
  3. your name and, if you’re complaining for an agency, your role there.

We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days. We’ll look into each one, and where the law requires it we’ll follow the process under section 5 of the Defamation Act 2013. While we investigate, we may hide the review or ask the reviewer for more information. We will tell you the outcome.

If you disagree with a decision we made about your review or report, reply to our email and someone who wasn’t involved will look at it again.

7. Things you must not do

Don’t use MyRecruiter to:

  • post anything unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
  • post other people’s personal information (phone numbers, home addresses, health details, and so on);
  • impersonate anyone;
  • scrape, copy or republish the directory or reviews in bulk without our written permission;
  • interfere with the site’s security or operation, or try to access accounts that aren’t yours.

8. Our liability

Reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours. We moderate them but don’t verify every statement. Make your own decisions about which agencies to work with.

We provide the site “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect loss, or for loss of business, profit or opportunity, arising from your use of the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
