Good reviews help other candidates choose an agency. A person reads every review before it goes live. These are the rules we check against.
Do
- Write about your own experience with the agency, from the last three years.
- Be specific. For example: how quickly they replied, whether the roles matched what you asked for, how they handled feedback, and whether they were honest about pay.
- Be fair. Say what went well as well as what didn’t.
- Separate fact from opinion. “They didn’t reply for three weeks” is a fact. “They didn’t seem to care” is your opinion. Both are fine, but make clear which is which.
Don’t
- Name or identify individual staff members. Review the agency, not a person. Phrases like “my consultant” are fine.
- Include personal information, whether yours or anyone else’s: phone numbers, addresses, salary details of others, or health information.
- Make accusations of crimes or serious wrongdoing that you can’t back up. If something unlawful happened, report it to the right authority, such as ACAS, the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate or the police.
- Use abusive, discriminatory or threatening language.
- Review an agency you work for, or a competitor’s.
- Accept anything in return for a review. That includes money, vouchers, or a promise of work.
- Post the same review more than once, or review the same agency from several accounts.
What happens next
- If your review follows these guidelines, we publish it as “Verified reviewer”. Your name is never shown.
- If it doesn’t, we’ll email you to explain, and you can edit and resubmit it.
- An agency can reply publicly, but it can’t remove your review.
- You can ask us to take your review down at any time.
